4.9 Continuity Test
Note: When testing continuity, make sure that the power is off
(dead circuit).
• Turn the rotary switch to the range and press the SELECT
button to select continuity ( will appear on the display )
• Insert the red lead to the red “+” input jack and the black lead to
the black "COM" input jack
• Bring the test probe tips into contact with the sample under test
• If the resistance is less than 50Ω ± 25Ω, the beeper emits a con-
tinuous sound
Warning:
If overload "OL" is displayed, the continuity exceeds the
measurement range or the circuit is open.
