Message Codeword
30. The Message codeword, in ASCII+ format, has a four-bit header which identifies the
message type. ASCII+ codewords are used for Display (Type 0) and Control (Type 1)
messages. They carry two ASCII+ characters each (see Figure 9). Messages with an
uneven number of characters have the <NUL> character appended to the end of the
message.
