IMPORTANT: The Cobblestone is only compatible with a router on a 2.4 GHz band
network. Before setting up your Cobblestone to a Wi-Fi network, please be sure your
router is on 2.4 GHz. Otherwise, the Cobblestone will not be able to connect to a Wi-Fi
network.
Steps to check if your router is on a 2.4 GHz band network
1. Open a web browser and enter the manufacturer's default IP address. The
manufacturer's default IP address should be located on the bottom of your router or in
the user manual provided. Log into your router account.
2. Select the wireless settings tab. Locate the "802.11 Band" to see whether it is on a
2.4 GHz. If not, please change it to that.
Power cycling the Cobblestone
Power cycling the Cobblestone means to turn the equipment off and then on again.
Note: After performing a power cycle, the Cobblestone will remember your previous
Wi-Fi network and automatically connect to it.
What issues can it resolve?
• Cobblestone crashing
• Cobblestone hangs and requires reboot
• Unable to connect to music services
Steps to Power Cycle
1. Take out the plug connected to the Cobblestone.
2. Wait a couple seconds and then put the plug back into the Cobblestone.
Restore Factory Settings
Essentially, initiating a factory reset is to restore your device's software to its original
state.
What issues can it resolve?
• Wi-Fi disconnection
• Sound breaks when streaming music
• Clearing presets on the Cobblestone
