hyperion - OPERATING INSTRUCTION
The criteria adopted to dene hyperion immune to EMC disturbances are:
- Communication between hyperion and the computer is never interrupted;
- The data exchanged between hyperion and the computer are never corrupted (image integrity);
- hyperion does not emit uncontrolled x-rays;
- hyperion x-ray emission values (kV, mA and exposure time) fall within the tolerances given in paragraph “tech-
nical data – radiological data” in this manual.
Manufacturers declaration and recommendations – Electromagnetic emissions
hyperion is suited for use in the electromagnetic environment specied below.
The customer or user of hyperion must assure that it is used in said environment.
Emission testing Conformity Electromagnetic environment – rec-
ommendations
RF emissions
CISPR 11
Group 1 hyperion uses RF energy only for in-
ternal functions. Therefore its RF emis-
sions are very low and do not cause in-
terferences to other nearby equipment.

Class A hyperion can be used in residential in-
stallations (or connected to the public
low voltage power supply system for
household use) taking the following
precautions: hyperion may be used
only by properly trained dental profes-
sionals or paramedics. hyperion may
cause radio interferences and disturb
nearby equipment. Counter-measures
may be required such as re-directing
or moving hyperion or shielding the in-
stallation room.
