Manufacturers declaration and recommendations – Electromagnetic immunity
hyperion is suited for use in the electromagnetic environment specied below.
The customer or user of hyperion must assure that it is used in said environment.

Portable RF devices must be used a distance away
from hyperion (or any of its parts including cables)
that is greater than or equal to the recommended
distance, calculated with the applicable equation.

Note2 These guidelines may not be applicable under all conditions. In fact, propagation of electromagnetic waves is
affected by absorption and reection on structures, objects and people.

Electromagnetic elds from xed transmitters such as repeaters for mobile phones, radios, etc… cannot be accu-
rately predicted. In order to accurately dene the electromagnetic environment, measurements may need to be taken
on site. If the measures are higher than the conformity levels, hyperion should be closely monitored to verify regular
operation. If performance drops, counter-measures may be required such as redirecting or moving the hyperion.

The electromagnetic eld should be less than 3V in the 150 kHz – 80MHz frequency range.
