SELF TACKING JIB
If your boat is equipped with the self tacking jib, the tra ck ,
and jib sheet controls will be pre-mounted on the fo r wa r d
beam as shown (1).
All you will need to do is run the control lines in the cor-
rect manner. You will need to install the spinnaker or
s nu f fer pole prior to running the control lines.
There are two lines used with the self tacking jib system.
Run the larger line through the sw i v el bl o c k on the beam,
and out to the turning bl o ck on the spinnaker pole (3), and
through the single airbl o ck, and continue to the respective
bl o c ks on the opposite side (2).
