What to do if Nautel NX50 Transmitter shows Arc Shutback?
    • B
      Brett ChapmanAug 4, 2025
If your Nautel Transmitter experiences an arc shutback, it means one of the rack controller’s arc detectors has been activated. To resolve this, visually inspect the inside of the transmitter to locate the fault causing the arc detector to trigger.

How to fix Nautel NX50 Transmitter Audio Loss Shutdown?
    • Q
      qedwardsAug 9, 2025
If your Nautel Transmitter is showing an Audio Loss Shutdown, it means the modulation level is below the preset threshold for the period of time specified in the Audio Loss settings of the current preset. Check the audio inputs specified in the preset and verify there is a signal present.

Why does my Nautel NX50 Transmitter have a Brownout Reset?
    • D
      Daniel MurphyAug 14, 2025
A brownout reset in your Nautel Transmitter indicates that the +5 V power supply voltage was less than +4.3 V, but remained above +1.4 V. The suggested solution is to replace the control/interface PWB.

What causes a Controller Reset on a Nautel NX50?
    • L
      Lawrence Klein DVMAug 19, 2025
A Controller Reset on your Nautel Transmitter means the +5 V power supply voltage was less than 1.4 V, which normally happens due to a loss of AC power. Replace the control/interface PWB to resolve this issue.

How to troubleshoot Nautel NX50 Combiner Interlock Open?
    • T
      Tamara PattersonAug 25, 2025
If your Nautel Transmitter displays a Combiner Interlock Open error, the interlock signal from the combiner is open. First, check the combiner for a condition that may cause it to open the interlock to the transmitter. Next, inspect the wiring between the combiner and the transmitter and verify there is no damage. If the alarm persists, replace the control/interface PWB.

What to do if Nautel NX50 Transmitter has EEPROM Failure: Config?
    • D
      Darren AlvarezAug 29, 2025
If your Nautel Transmitter shows an EEPROM Failure for the Config, it means the transmitter can't read the settings from EEPROM upon boot-up. First, configure the affected settings as desired. Then, cycle the AC power to the transmitter (turn it off, then on). If the alarm continues, replace the battery on the control/interface PWB and retry the above steps. If the alarm still persists, replace the control/interface PWB.
