InterstageCooler(ISC).Cooledcompressedairows
fromtheISCintothehigh-pressureturbocharger.The
high-pressureturbochargerincreasestheintakeair
pressureupto345kPa(50psi).Thehotcompressed
airowsintotheChargeAirCooler(CAC)whereit
iscooled,andthendirectedtotheEngineThrottle
Valve(ETV)andmixingductareaofthethrottlevalve
assembly.
IftheEGRcontrolvalveisopen,exhaustgaspasses
throughtheEGRsystemintothemixingductwhereit
ismixedwiththelteredintakeair.Thismixtureows
