Vehicle

Engine
•Theengineshouldbeoperatedorservicedonly
byqualiedindividuals.
•Providenecessaryventilationwhenoperating
engineinaclosedarea.
•Keepcombustiblematerialawayfromengine
exhaustsystemandexhaustmanifolds.
•Installallshields,guards,andaccesscovers
beforeoperatingengine.
•Donotrunenginewithunprotectedairinletsor
exhaustopenings.Ifunavoidableforservice
reasons,putprotectivescreensoverallopenings
beforeservicingengine.
•Shutengineoffandrelieveallpressureinthe
systembeforeremovingpanels,housingcovers,
andcaps.
•Ifanengineisnotsafetooperate,tagtheengine
andignitionkey.
FirePrevention
•Makesurechargedreextinguishersareinthe
workarea.
