20. Install the MSR as shown in the Removing the MSR section.
Check to see that the MSR is aligned properly with the guide by
swiping a card backward and forward. The card should swipe
smoothly, and you should not feel a “bump” when the card passes
through the guide. Non-smooth swiping is usually caused by improper
harness routing and failure to seat the MSR securely in the base of the
keyboard cabinet.
