Sew a row of stitches and adjust the thread tension so the upper thread
should appear on the reverse side of the fabric.
Test the stitch on the actual fabric for the best results.
Machine setting
When forward and reverse feeds become unbalanced depending upon the
type of fabric, correct the balance by turning the stitch length dial as follows:
When patterns are compressed, correct it by turning the dial toward “+”.
When patterns are drawn out, correct it by turning the dial toward “ - “.
