D. The FilterCart W3 is ready for use and aer a while the light emission
diode indicates xed green light. Aer use for a certain me, the airow
will be reduced through the extracon arm and the pressure drop will
increase, which will result in having to change the lter cartridge.
E. The light emission diodes indicate xed light: The pressure drop has
increased. Pre-warning for changing the lter cartridge.
F. The light emission diodes indicate xed light and aer about 30 s an
intermient alarm signal starts. Change the lter cartridge. If you want
to nish the work in progress before the lter cartridge is changed, the

9 Changing the lter cartridge
See Figure 7. The lter cartridge is disposable and is to be thrown-away aer
use. The life span of the lter cartridge varies greatly depending on how the
FilterCart W3 is used and how much and what type of pollutants are collected.
Regularly check the light eming diodes on the pressure drop symbol on the
control board to know when to change the lter cartridge, see Chapter ‘8
The control board indicaons’. Always check that the hoses for the extracon
arm and the fan inlet are undamaged before it is decided to replace the lter
cartridge.
WARNING! Risk of personal injury.
Use necessary personal safety equipment when replacing the lter cartridges.
