How does the camera know someone is “Away"?

There are three ways for WELCOME to determine if someone is "Away": using phone location, inactivity, or manual setting.

When the camera sees someone, it considers the person is "Home" for the next 4 hours (Default).

If the app indicates 'camera disconnected', shake the camera; a green light should light up.

Check power connection. Unplug and plug back the adapter; the camera should light up green.

A tiers power adapter is used

A tiers power adapter is used

Use the power adapter provided with WELCOME. Using a tiers power adapter may damage WELCOME.

Welcome's light is flashing yellow

Wi-Fi signal is too weak

Move camera closer to router or use Ethernet cable if Wi-Fi is weak or unreachable.

Wi-Fi password has changed

Go to camera settings > Your home > Camera > Configure Wifi to update the password.

Welcome's light is flashing red

Internet access is down

If the camera connects to Wi-Fi but not the internet, it flashes red. Fix your internet access.

SD card is not detected

Ensure the micro SD card is correctly inserted and locked into its slot.

SD card format is wrong

SD card format is wrong

Micro SD card compatibility: 2GB-32GB capacity, Class 10. Ensure correct format.
