The gateway is for indoor use only. Place it centrally for optimal WiFi performance.

Airflow

Do not restrict airflow around the gateway. Maintain 5cm clearance. It may become warm.

Environment

Avoid direct sunlight, hot areas, liquids, and humid places. Operate between 0°C and 40°C.

Power Supply

Always use the provided power supply unit. Discontinue use if the cable or unit is damaged.

Service

The gateway contains no user-serviceable components. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair it.

Small Children

Keep the gateway and accessories away from children. It contains small, detachable parts.

RF Exposure

The gateway emits RF energy. It complies with exposure limits when kept at least 20cm away.

Step 1: Locate NBN Connection Box

Find the NBN Connection Box installed inside your property.

Step 2: Check Power and Signal Lights

Ensure POWER, STATUS, and ODU lights are solid green. At least one signal light should be on.

Step 3: Connect Modem to NBN Box

How to connect a NF18 MESH modem

Before You Begin

Ethernet WAN Connection

Common access type using the blue WAN port to connect to a dedicated connection box.

ADSL or VDSL Connection

Uses the grey DSL port for FTTB, FTTN, or ADSL/VDSL over a traditional telephone line.

Logging in to the Web Interface

Factory Reset

Complete a factory reset of the modem before proceeding with login.

Open Web Browser

Navigate to http://cloudmesh.net or http://192.168.20.1 in your browser.

Login Screen Credentials

Enter 'admin' for username and the password from the gateway label.

Internet Services Setup

Select 'Ethernet WAN' under the Internet Services section.

Connection Type Selection

Choose 'PPPoE' as your Connection Type.

Enter Connection Details

Input the required details for your specific Connection Type.

PPPoE Configuration

Enter PPPoE username, password, 802.1P, and VLAN Tag from your connection email.

Dynamic IP Configuration

Enter 802.1P priority and VLAN Tag provided in your connection email.

Static IP Settings

Enter WAN IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway IP, DNS servers, 802.1P, and VLAN Tag.

Configure Wireless Networks
