Why is my Nibe VEDEX 3300 not reaching the required temperature?
    • J
      James SmithJul 28, 2025
To resolve issues with Nibe Boiler not reaching the required output and water temperature, ensure there's enough water in the heating system by refilling it. Adjust the pump flow. If the boiler output isn't sufficient for the water system, adjust or change the installation. Use only dry wood with moisture content below 20%. Repair any leaks in the firing-up safety valve. Address chimney draught issues by installing a new chimney or adjusting the connection, or position the throttle into the smoke flue. Straighten any bent blades of the draw-off ventilator to a 90° angle. Replace the boiler if it takes too long to fire up. Clean the boiler and any clogged combustion air holes in the burning chamber.

How to stop smoke coming out of my Nibe VEDEX 3300 door?
    • D
      daniel41Aug 3, 2025
If you see smoke coming out of the Nibe Boiler door, it could be due to a faulty glass cord. Replace the sealing cord and adjust the door hinges. Avoid burning small pieces of wood or sawdust, as a clogged nozzle can also cause this issue. Ensure the boiler door is completely closed to prevent smoke from escaping.

      rogerspamelaAug 8, 2025
If the ventilator of your Nibe Boiler isn't rotating, it might be due to a clogged impeller. Remove any tar and deposits from the ventilator. Alternatively, the capacitor or engine might be faulty and need replacement.

Why is there water inside the burning chamber of my Nibe VEDEX 3300 Boiler?
    • M
      Matthew OlsenAug 14, 2025
If you find water inside the burning chamber of your Nibe Boiler, it may be because the wood you're using is too moist. Use only dry wood with a moisture content below 20%. Also, the set temperature may be too low; increase it. If the return water temperature is too low, use a safety valve to protect the return from excessively low temperatures.
