Also, digital zoom cannot be used when the scene mode is Scene auto selector, Portrait, Night portrait, Night landscape, Backlighting with HDR set to On, Easy panorama or Pet portrait, when smart portrait mode is selected, when Continuous in the shooting menu is set to Multi-shot 16, or when AF area mode in the shooting menu is set to Subject tracking.

Note that while any data actively being recorded will be lost, previously recorded data will remain unaffected.

  If the battery isn't charging when inserted in your Nikon digital camera, confirm all connections are properly made. When connected to a computer, charging may not occur if 'Charge by computer' is off in the setup menu, if the camera is turned off during charging, or if the camera's display language and date/time haven't been set (or were reset after the clock battery was exhausted). Use the charging AC adapter to charge the battery. Also, charging may stop if the computer is in sleep mode or depending on the computer's specifications, settings, and status.
