      If the Nikon Monocular fails to provide the target range and shows [- - -] (“Cannot measure”), make sure that the laser emission aperture and laser detector are not blocked by anything (like your hand or finger) and are clean. Ensure also that the target shape and condition are suitable for reflecting the laser beam. If the issue persists, try replacing the battery.
