the self-timer button. The self-timer lamp blinks and a bleep
sounds (if the audible warning switch
is

sec.
before the shutter
is
released. During the final two
seconds, the warnings speed up, telling you to get
ready.
If you
want to cancel the self-timer after activating it, press the button a
second time.
In
the
P,
P
HI
or A mode, use the eyepiece cover to prevent stray
light from entering the viewfinder.
Regardless of the film advance mode selector setting, only
single-frame shooting
is
possible.
