Troubleshooting -
Fault Causes Remedies
The exhauster fails to start No power
Check whether power is reaching the socket
Check whether the plug and cable are in a
good condition
Ask for assistance from an authorized mani-
facturer’s technician
The rpm rate of the exhauster in-
creases
Clogged primary fi lter
Shake the fi lter. Replace it if this is not suf-
fi cient
Clogged suction pipe Check the suction pipe and clean it
Dust leaks from the exhauster
The fi lter is torn Change it for another of identical category
Inadequate fi lter
Change it for another of suitable category
and check
Noisy suction motors Worn or broken carbons Demount and replace the motor carbons
Electrostatic current on the exhauster Inexistent or ineffi cient grounding
Check all ground con-nections. Particularly
check the suction inlet fi tting; lastly, the pipe
must be strictly antistatic
