Fill the water reservoir up to, but do not exceed, the Max Fill line.
Place cup, travel mug, XL tumbler, or carafe on the brewer base.
Install the Pod Adapter in the brew basket and lock it for pod brewing.
Prepare for brewing with ground coffee by adding a filter and grounds.
Prepare for brewing with pods by installing the adapter and inserting a pod.
