Save your voice mailbox number
Your service provider may have already saved your voice mailbox number to your phone.
If so, the number will appear in step 2. Select OK to leave the number unchanged.
1 Select Menu > Messages > Voice messages > Voice mailbox number.
2 If the box is empty, enter the voice mailbox area code and number, and select OK.
Call and set up your voice mail
1 Once you have saved the voice mailbox number, press and hold the 1 key.
2 When you connect to voice mail and the prerecorded greeting begins, follow
the services automated instructions to set up your voice mail.
Listen to your voice messages
Once you have set up voice mail, you can dial the number in one of four ways:
Dial the number, by using the keypad.
Press and hold the 1 key.
Select Listen if there is a notification message in the display.
Select Menu > Messages > Voice messages > Listen to voice messages. After
a brief pause, your phone dials the voice mail number.
Once you connect and the prerecorded greeting begins, follow the automated
instructions to listen to your voice messages.
INFO MESSAGE SERVICE
With the info message network service, you can receive short text messages from
your service provider on various topics, such as weather and traffic conditions.
Contact your service provider for more information.
MESSAGE SETTINGS
Text, picture, and e-mail
1 Select Menu > Messages > Message Settings > Text messages >
Sending profile.
2 If more than one message profile set is supported by your SIM card, select the
set you want to change, and select one of the following:
Default recipient numberFor text messages, the default number used to
send messages.
Delivery reportsRequest the network to send delivery reports on your messages.
Use GPRSSet GPRS as the preferred method of sending text messages.
Reply via same centerAllow the recipient of your message to send you a
reply message using your message center (network service).
