Each picture message is made up of several text messages. Therefore, sending one
picture message may cost more than one text message.
Since picture messages are saved in the phone, you cannot view them if you use
the SIM card with another phone.
When you receive a picture message
To view the message immediately, press View. You can save the message in the
Picture messages menu by pressing Save or delete it by pressing Back and Exit.
Sending a picture message
Press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages and Picture messages. To view
a picture message, scroll to the desired message and press View. To modify the
displayed text or picture, press Options and select Edit text or Edit picture (see
also Picture editor on page 77).
To view the whole message, press Options and select Preview. To send the
message, press Options and select Send.
Downloading picture messages
You can fetch (’download’) new preset picture messages from the WAP service of
Club Nokia. This function is only included if this WAP service is available in your
country.
Press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages and Download picture
message.
If the WAP connection fails and an error message such as Check service settings is
displayed, change the active set of connection settings in the Services menu and
