Accessory settings
You can define the default settings that the phone uses when it is connected to a
compatible accessory. This menu is shown only if the phone is used or has been
used with such an accessory.
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and
Accessory settings.
Select the accessory Headset or Handsfree. Next, select
• Default profile to choose the profile that the phone uses when the accessory is
connected.
• Select Automatic answer to set the phone to automatically answer an
incoming call after one ring.
• Select Lights to set the display and keypad lights on or off. This setting is only
available for the Handsfree accessory.
Keyguard settings
You can set the phone to automatically lock the keypad if the phone is not used
for a certain length of time (Automatic keyguard), or you can lock the keypad
manually by using the security code of your phone (Keyguard code).
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and
Keyguard settings.
If you select Keyguard code, key in the security code and press OK. Select On to
activate the keyguard code. If you remove the battery from your phone, you need
to activate the keyguard code again.
