Messages (menu 2)
Read Messages
When you have received an SMS message, the text ...Messag-
es(s)
Received is displayed and the indicator is on. Press
(
Read) to view the message(s). To view the message later, en-
ter the menu function
Inbox (menu 2-1).
The messages in the Inbox are listed, the latest message is on the
top of the list. Use or to reach the desired message and press
(
Read).
While reading a message, press (
Options) for available op-
tions, and press (
OK) to select the desired option: Erase, Re-
ply
, Edit, Use Number (lists the phone numbers found in the
message) and
Forward (to send the message further). In the De-
tails option, use or to see details of the message, sender’s
name and phone number, message centre used for sending, recep-
tion date and time.
Writing, Sending and Saving a Message
Within the Write messages menu (menu 2-3) you can write and
edit text messages of up to 160 characters.
When you have finished writing, press (
Options) for one of
the options
: Send, Send by set (sends the message by using a
selected set),
Save (stores the message in the Outbox folder (menu
2-2) for sending the message later) or
Clear screen (removes
all the characters in the message).
