You may be able to check the login status of your contacts in Menu > Push to talk >
Contacts list. This service depends on your network operator and is only available
for subscribed contacts. To subscribe a contact, select Options > Subscribe contact,
or if one or more contacts are already marked, Subscribe marked.
or indicate that the person is either available or unknown.
indicates that the person wants not to be disturbed, but can receive callback
requests. indicates that the person has PTT not switched on.
Make a channel call
To make a call to a channel, select Channel list in the PTT menu, scroll to the desired
channel, and press and hold the PTT (volume up) key.
Make a one-to-one call
To start a one-to-one call from the list of contacts to which you have added the
PTT address, select Contacts > Names or Menu > Push to talk > Contacts list.
Scroll to a contact, and press and hold the PTT (volume up) key.
To start a one-to-one call from the list of PTT channels, select Channel list, scroll
to the desired channel, and select Members. Scroll to the desired contact, and
press and hold the PTT (volume up) key.
To start a one-to-one call from the list of callback requests you have received,
select Callback inbox. Scroll to the desired nickname, and press and hold the
PTT (volume up) key.
Make a PTT call to multiple recipients
You can select multiple PTT contacts from the contact list. The recipients receive
an incoming call and need to accept the call in order to participate. If supported
by your network operator, you also may select contacts with a phone number but
without PTT number. For details, contact your network operator.
1. Select Menu > Push to talk > Contacts list, and mark the desired contacts.
2. Press and hold the PTT (volume up) key to start the call. The participating
contacts are shown on the display as soon as they join the call.
3. Press and hold the PTT (volume up) key to talk to them. Release the PTT
(volume up) key to hear the response.
4. Press the end key to terminate the call.
