SAFETY / CAUTIONS
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLING OR USING YOUR
HARD FLOOR CLEANER.
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should be observed, including
the following:
Use your hard oor
cleaner only as
described in this Use &
Care Guide.
Use on indoor hard oors
only.
Do not allow it to be used
as a toy. Close attention
is necessary when used
by or near children, pets
or plants.
Use only manufacturer’s
recommended
attachments.
Do not put any object
into openings. Do not
use with any opening
blocked; keep openings
free of dust, lint, hair,
and anything that may
reduce air ow.
Keep hair, loose clothing,
ngers, and parts of body
away from openings and
moving parts.
Use extra care when
cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick
up ammable or
combustible materials
(lighter uid, gasoline,
kerosene, etc.) or use in
areas where they may
be present.
Do not use the appliance
in an enclosed space
lled with vapours given
off by oil-based paint,
paint thinner,
some moth-
proong substances,
ammable dust, or other
explosive or toxic vapours.
Do not pick up toxic
material (chlorine
bleach, ammonia, drain
cleaner, etc.).
Do not pick up anything
that is burning or
smoking, such as
cigarettes, matches, or
hot ashes.
Do not pick up hard or
sharp objects such as
glass, nails, screws, coins,
etc.
Do not carry the
appliance while in use.
Do not immerse. Use only
on surfaces moistened by
the cleaning process.
Packing materials can be
dangerous.
Do not use without lters
or tanks in place.
Always connect to a
proper electrical socket.
Do not charge the
appliance outdoors.
Do not charge with a
damaged cord or plug.
Do not pull or carry the
charging adapter by
cord, use the cord as a
handle, close a door on
the cord, or pull the cord
around sharp edges or
corners. Keep cord away
from heated surfaces.
Do not unplug by pulling
on the charging adapter
cord. To unplug, grasp
the charging plug, not
the cord.
Do not handle storage
base, charging plug,
or appliance with wet
hands.
Do not incinerate the
appliance even if it is
severely damaged. The
batteries can explode in
a re.
Only charge the
appliance with the
charging adapter and
storage base specied
by the manufacturer.
Do not use a charging
adapter or a storage
base that is damaged
or modied. Damaged
or modied charging
adapter or storage
base may exhibit
unpredictable behaviour
resulting in re, explosion,
or risk of injury.
Do not expose a
charging adapter or a
storage base to re or
excessive temperature.
Exposure to re or
temperature above
104°F (40°C) may cause
an explosion.
Follow all charging
instructions and do not
charge the appliance
outside the temperature
range of 39 – 104°F
(4 – 40°C). Charging
improperly or at
temperatures outside this
range may damage the
appliance and increase
