17. Use heat resistant tape to secure the air
separator in pace. Use your best judg-
ment on how much tape to use and
where to adhere it, as every instalation is
different. The tape helps the air separator
keep the warm and cool air separated.
18. Test all connections between the
power source and the unit for excessive
heat during normal operations.
19. Install facepate. Line up the facepate
vents with the air-out fan openings in the
AC base pate. Use 8 screws (back screws
were included in instalation kit) that will
match your vehicle interior to secure the
facepate to the ceiling.
The facepate does not screw into the
AC unit base. It attaches (flush mount-
ed) to the vehicle’s ceiling directly.
