What to do if my NordicTrack C 2000 power does not turn on?

  First, ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet. If you need an extension cord, only use a 3-conductor, 1 mm[2] (14-gauge) cord that is no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.). Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. Wait five minutes, then press the switch back in to reset it.

What to do if NordicTrack C 2000 Treadmill incline does not change correctly?

  To recalibrate the incline system, insert the key into the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.

Why does my NordicTrack C 2000 power turn off during use?

  If your treadmill turns off during use, check the reset/off circuit breaker. If it has tripped, wait five minutes before pressing the switch back in. Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Another solution is to remove and reinsert the key from the console. If these steps don't resolve the issue, please see the front cover of this manual.

What to do if the NordicTrack C 2000 walking belt is off-center or slips when walked on?

  If the walking belt is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it has shifted right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Be careful not to overtighten the belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until centered. If the belt slips when walked on, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 of a turn. You should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform when correctly tightened. Keep the belt centered, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.
