What to do if NordicTrack Treadmill power turns off during use?
    • T
      Todd WagnerJul 31, 2025
If the power turns off during use, there are several things to check: * Examine the power switch and if it has tripped, wait five minutes before pressing it back in. * Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and then plug it back in. * Try removing and reinserting the key from the console. * If the treadmill still won't run, please consult the front cover of this manual.

Why NordicTrack Treadmill power does not turn on?
    • B
      Brandon BrooksAug 4, 2025
If the power does not turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet. If an extension cord is necessary, use only a 3-conductor, 14-gauge (1 mm[2]) cord no longer than 5 ft. (1.5 m). Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Check the power switch on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, it has tripped; wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

    • L
      linda15Aug 13, 2025
If the walking belt slips when walked on, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 in. (5 to 7 cm) off the walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt centered. Next, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.
