Why does my NordicTrack Treadmill power turn off during use?

  There are several reasons why your NordicTrack treadmill might be losing power during use. Here are a few things to check: * Ensure the power switch hasn't tripped. If it has, wait five minutes, then press it back in. * Verify the power cord is securely plugged in. If it is, try unplugging it, waiting five minutes, and plugging it back in. * Try removing and reinserting the key from the console. * Check the Reed Switch and Magnet alignment inside the motor hood. Make sure the gap between them is about 1/8 inch. * If the walking belt is too tight, loosen it by turning both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn.

  If your NordicTrack Treadmill isn't turning on, try these steps: * Ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet. If using an extension cord, it should be a 3-conductor, 14-gauge cord no longer than 5 ft. * Confirm that the key is fully inserted into the console. * Check the power switch. If it's tripped (protruding), wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset.

How to recalibrate incline on NordicTrack Treadmill?

  To recalibrate the incline on your NordicTrack treadmill: 1. Hold down the Stop button and the Speed increase button. 2. Insert the key into the console, and then release both buttons. 3. Press the Stop button, then press either the Incline increase or decrease button. The treadmill should automatically rise to the maximum incline and then return to the minimum, recalibrating the system. If it doesn't start calibrating, press the Stop button again, then press the Incline increase or decrease button again. Remove the key after calibration.

  If the walking belt on your NordicTrack treadmill is slipping, use the hex key to turn both idler roller screws clockwise, 1/4 of a turn.

  If the walking belt on your NordicTrack treadmill isn't centered: * If it has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 of a turn. * If it has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn.
