How to troubleshoot a NordicTrack Treadmill if the power does not turn on?
    • L
      Lee WestJul 31, 2025
If your NordicTrack Treadmill's power does not turn on: 1. Ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet. Use only a 3-conductor, 1 mm[2] (14-gauge) cord that is no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.) if an extension cord is needed. 2. After plugging in the power cord, verify that the key is inserted into the console. 3. Check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset it, wait five minutes, then press the switch back in.

Why is the incline on my NordicTrack Treadmill not working correctly?
    • C
      Calvin DavisAug 6, 2025
If the incline of your NordicTrack Treadmill does not change correctly, put the key in the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, take the key out. After a few seconds, put the key back in. The treadmill will automatically go to the highest incline and then back to the lowest. This will recalibrate the incline system.

How to fix a walking belt that is off-center or slips on a NordicTrack Treadmill?
    • E
      Edward HobbsAug 16, 2025
If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill is off-center, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted to the left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn using the hex key. If it has shifted to the right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening the belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until centered. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. You should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform when correctly tightened. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened.

Using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Keep the walking belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the belt is properly tightened.
