      First, ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both a surge suppressor and a properly grounded outlet. If you're using an AFCI-equipped outlet and the circuit breaker trips, consider purchasing an arc filter (see the front cover of this manual). Also, verify that the key is correctly inserted into the console. Finally, check the power switch on the treadmill frame; if it's tripped (protruding), wait five minutes before pressing it back in to reset it.

      If your treadmill shuts off unexpectedly, start by checking the power switch to see if it has tripped; if so, wait five minutes, then press it back in. Next, ensure the power cord is properly plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, try removing and reinserting the key from the console. If these steps don't resolve the issue, please see the front cover of this manual.

      First, ensure the power cord is correctly plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is plugged into a grounded outlet. Then, verify the key is fully inserted into the console. Also, check the power switch. If it protrudes, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it. If your treadmill is connected to an AFCI-equipped outlet and the circuit breaker trips repeatedly, you may need to purchase an arc filter.

      If the walking belt has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 of a turn. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Also, using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws clockwise, 1/4 of a turn.

      If the walking belt slows down when you walk on it, and it feels overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. If you suspect that the walking belt needs more lubricant or the walking belt still slows when walked on, see the front cover of this manual.

      The walking belt might be overtightened. To resolve this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. The belt should be tight enough that you can lift each edge 2 to 3 inches off the platform.
