12. Slide the shifter fork onto the piston shaft until it sits on the shoulder.
The side stamped “up” must face the air motor end of the pump.
Insert the screw and apply torque of 8-10 Nom (71-89 in.-lb).

13. Pull the piston shaft up as far as possible and install one piston cup
washer (l), one piston cup (2), and the piston seal washer (3) onto
the shaft in the proper order. The curved edge of the piston cup
should be pointing down.
14. Slide the cylinder over the piston and onto the pump mount. Be
careful not the to damage the piston cup.
15. Use the fork to move the piston shaft up to the top of the cylinder.

16. Put the remaining piston cup and piston cup washer on the piston
shaft. The curved edge of the piston cup should be pointing up.
17. Hold the piston with a wrench and replace the hex nut. Apply torque
of 11.30-I 3.56 Nom (100-l 20 in.-lb).
