- Carefully place the NOVA universal spanner and wear safety gloves before proceed.
- Hold the chuck securely by hand on wooden work bench (or other working table with safety mat
underneath) and to loosen the L-insert from the chuck, use soft hammer to apply torque onto the
spanner. After the L-insert has been loosened then it can be turned freely by hand.
4. Removing the circlip/snap ring
Note: Wear safety goggles and gloves before continuing on the following procedure.
- To avoid bouncing off circlip/snap ring, place fingers on the chuck and by using circlip/snap ring plier
expand the circlip/snap ring and lift it off from the backing plate.
