If you are experiencing problems with your Novint Falcon, or it does not appear
to be working correctly, please refer to the troubleshooting descriptions below.
If these suggestions do not solve your problem, please contact Novint Customer
Support, and we will help you to your satisfaction. Novint’s Customer Support
is dedicated to getting back to customers within 24 hours of their rst making
contact, and we will work with you until we nd a solution to your issues.
* Novint continually sends out patches, or software xes and
enhancements, for your Novint Falcon software. Run N VeNT while
your computer is connected to the internet to automatically get
the latest software updates. This will solve many problems
people have.
* Please verify that your system meets our minimum system
requirements. The most common issue in not meeting system
requirements is a graphics card that is not powerful enough. Many
laptops that are 2-3 years old, for example, do not have
sucient graphics capabilities. Your computer will need a
graphics card with at least 128 MB of memory. To check this, right
click on your desktop, and select “Properties” on Windows XP and
“Personalize” on Windows Vista. On XP then select the “Settings”
tab, and on Vista select the “Display Settings” option. Click on
the “Advanced” (XP) or “Advanced Settings” (Vista) button. Click
on the “Adapter” tab. On this window you can see your video
card’s memory.
* If your Falcon is not working properly, but it was working
previously, please unplug the USB cable and plug it back in. This
can solve a number of issues that occur infrequently. You can also
