Operation
Switching on the device:
Switch on the main switch on the right side of the device.
In addition the displays (6+12) on the front panel show you the software version (initialisation);
after that, the display (6) shows the basic setting regarding the speed and the rotating direction
of the grinder is illuminated.
Switching on the hand-piece and the suction system:
Attention ! Only switch on the hand-piece after the tool has been firmly inserted. Otherwise
there is a risk of injury and the hand-piece may be damaged.
Press the Start/Stop pushbutton (7) for rotation the grinder.
The grinder turns with the values displayed on the front panel.
Press the ON/OFF pushbutton (13) for the suction system.
The exhaust system works with the values displayed on the front panel.
Please note: The suction system can only be activated if rotation is switched on.
The suction capacity and the setting of the speed can be adjusted during operation.
Setting the speed:
Press the + or – pushbutton of the speed controller (11) to increase or reduce the speed.
The speed is controllable in steps of 1000 from 5000 up to 12000 and Steps of 2000 from 12000
up to 30000 min
-1
.
The selected speed is displayed by the corresponding display (6) on the front panel.
Setting of suction:
Press the + or – pushbutton of the vacuum power control (15) to increase or reduce suction.
The suction capacity (vacuum) set is displayed by the corresponding display (12). Setting can be
adjusted in 9 steps.
Please note: If you experience a reduction in the suction capacity, the dust bag has to be
replaced.
Changing the rotational direction of the tool:
Do not use the tool while changing the rotational direction. Wait until the rotational direction has
been changed before you continue working.
Press the L/R pushbutton (8).
The rotational direction of the tool is displayed on the front panel.
Switching the hand-piece:
You have basically two ways of switching off the hand-piece and switching it on again:
On the device
Press the Start/Stop pushbutton (7). The tool and the suction system are now switched off.
Press the Start/Stop pushbutton (7) once again in order to switch on the tool and the suction
system again.
