1 - Adjust the angle of the base. A rolled up towel
or foam pool noodle may be used to help adjust
the amount of recline. Angle is correct when
blue line on carrier is levelled withground.
Attaching Child Restraint to Base

- After child is properly secured in child restraint,
press child restraint on base and listen for a
click. Pull on child restraint to verify installation.
DO NOT allow child restraint or handle to
contact the vehicle interior (side of car door or
seat in front) when installed on base.
3 - To release the child restraint, squeeze the
carrier release button (1) located on the base
and then pull the child restraint up (2).
4 - To remove the base, first push the base toward
the vehicle seat with a light force.
5 - As you push the base toward the vehicle seat,
squeeze the secondary (1) and primary rigid
LATCH release buttons (2). For ease of release,
push the secondary button first, then the
primary button.
6 - Then pull the base off of the bars.
Check the installation
Base should not move side to side or forward
more than 1” (25 mm) at belt path.
Ensure the base is leveled with ground. Place
carrier in the base and ensure Blue line is
levelled with ground.
It is acceptable to install with both UAS
(lower attachments) and the vehicle belt.
