Harness: No harness. Vehicle shoulder and lap belt are
required.
Backrest: N/A
Belt path: Armrests must be upright and locked into place when restraint is
in use. To unlock, press red buttons on sides of armrests and unfold
armrests (diagram 1). Use vehicle lap-shoulder belt to restrain child. Route
both sides of lap belt and lower end of shoulder belt under armrest guides
(diagram 2).
Tether and LATCH: N/A
Other: Belt positioning clip must be used at all times, and must be
attached to metal ring on restraint on vehicle buckle side. Thread
looped end of belt positioning clip through metal ring (diagram 3), then
thread clip through looped end (diagram 4) and tighten. Attach
positioning clip to vehicle shoulder belt, and adjust such that vehicle
shoulder belt crosses child’s shoulder (diagram 2). Positioning clip
strap must be behind child and clip even with child’s shoulder
(diagram 5).
Remove belt positioning clip when using restraint as
backpack; store clip under back flap (diagram 6).
Do not overstuff backpack, as this will not allow booster seat
to sit properly on vehicle seat.
