Why is the water not clear in my Oase Water Filtration System?
    • C
      Christina RichardsonJul 28, 2025
If the water in your Oase Water Filtration System isn't clearing, it might be due to several reasons. If the unit is new, allow several weeks for the biological cleaning effect to fully establish. Ensure the pump capacity is adequate and readjust if necessary. Clear the pond of excessive algae and leaves, and consider a partial water change if the water is extremely soiled. Check that the fish population isn't too high; aim for approximately 60 cm of fish length per 1 m3 of pond water. Also, clean the foam filters and the quartz glass tube to ensure proper function.

What to do if the UVC lamp display is not lit on my Oase Water Filtration System?
    • A
      Amy RoweAug 7, 2025
If the UVC lamp display on your Oase Water Filtration System is not lit, there could be a few reasons. First, ensure that the power supply of the Filtoclear-UVC is properly connected. If it is, the UVC lamp might be defective and need replacement. Also, check the electrical connection for any defects. If the lamp has been in use for approximately 8,000 operating hours, it may have reached the end of its capacity and needs replacing. Make sure that the function switch is turned to 'Filter' and not 'Cleaning'. Finally, if the Filtoclear-UVC overheated, the UVC will automatically switch on when cooled down.
