Perform the Accessory Operational Test
1. Test the operation of any accessories which may be configured with the system; such as a thermal
printer or VCR.
Inspect/Adjust the Gen-Lock Calibration
1. Observe LED’s DS1 and DS2 on the Video Switching board. If both LED’s are illuminated, the gen-lock
circuit is calibrated.
2. If both DS1 and DS2 are not equally illuminated, adjust tuning capacitor C89, on the Video Switching
PCB, (using a non-conductive alignment tool) until both LED’s are illuminated equally. This verifies that
the gen-lock circuit is tuned to the center of its operating range.
