PREPARATION FOR USE
Battery Installation:
Open battery cover on bottom of
the Indicator. Install three LR14
(“C”) batteries (not included).
Orient batteries as shown on
inside cover. Close battery cover.
AC Adapter Installation:
Check that local line voltage
matches voltage printed on the AC
adapter label. Then connect the
scale to the power supply.
Mount Indicator as desired.
…with or without brackets.

SELECTING THE LOCATION:
Place on a firm, steady surface.
Avoid excessive air current, vibrations, heat
sources, or rapid temperature changes.
Use leveling feet to level the base.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Before plugging in the indicator, verify that local power supply matches voltage printed
on AC adapter. (Use only the adapter provided.)
• Disconnect the indicator from the power supply when cleaning.
• Do not operate this product in hazardous or unstable environments.
• Do not drop loads on the platform.
• Operate the product only under ambient conditions specified in the Instruction Manual.
• Service should be performed by authorized personnel only.
