If the steam function is not used for a few minutes, steam inside the iron
could condense and become water.
When beginning to iron, this transformation could cause the leakage of
some water drops from the plate (9).
To prevent the drops from dropping on your pieces of clothing, keep the iron
(8) on a cloth and press the button (12) a few times until steam production
normalizes. At this point you can start to iron again.
Ironing without steam
• Select the necessary ironing temperature.
• Iron without pressing the supersteam supply button (12).
- If you press the supersteam supply button (12) by mistake during ironing, steam will
be supplied (if the thermostat “11” knob is on the appropriate zone and the plate
temperature is suciently high).
- If the water tank (2) is empty you could hear a “ticking” caused by the empty catching
pump.
Steam ironing in vertical position
• Steam ironing can be used even while keeping the iron
(8) in vertical position to remove folds from hung pieces
of clothing (coats, suits, jackets, drapes, etc.).
- Keep the iron (8) in vertical position, then press the
supersteam supply button (12).
Never point the steam current towards
people or animals.
