TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause Solution
Smoke emission is noticed
after turning on the appliance
for the rst time.
Its perfectly normal, since
some parts of the iron (8) have
been slightly lubricated at the
factory.
The phenomenon doesn’t
occur anymore after a while.
Dirt particles come out from
the new iron plate (9).
Its perfectly normal with a new
iron (8).
This particles are completely
harmless and they will
disappear after using the iron
(8) a few times.
Water drops come out from the
plate (9).
The thermostat (11) has been
set on a too low temperature
for steam ironing.
Select an appropriate
temperature for steam ironing.
The cord is cold when
beginning to iron and steam
condenses inside, causing the
leakage of water drops from
the plate.
Its a perfectly normal
phenomenon: keep the iron
(8) on a cloth and press the
supersteam supply button (12).
The cloth absorbs water drops
and, after a few seconds, steam
supply stabilizes.
The appliance doesn’t supply
steam.
The appliance is not turned on. Check that the power plug is
correctly inserted in the power
socket.
The plate (9) is not hot enough. Wait for the plate to correctly
heat up and for the indicator
light (10) to turn o.
You’re not pressing the
supersteam supply button.
Keep the supersteam supply
button (12) pressed while
steam ironing.
The thermostat (11) has been
set on a too low temperature
for steam ironing.
Select an appropriate
temperature for steam ironing.
