Storage
Check that the appliance has suciently cooled down before
storing it.
• Empty the tank (2) and reposition it in its slot.
• Periodically check the power cord and the steam
pipe (7) conditions.
• Wrap the power cord in its appropriate slot (6).
• Store the appliance.
SELF-DECALCIFICATION function
• Inside the water tank (2) there’s a descaling lter
(14) able to absorb insoluble calcium ions and to
convert them into soluble ions; this makes water
softer and preserves the iron working life.
This operation considerably reduces limestone
formation.
However, if you live in an hard water zone, your
iron working life will increase signicantly if you
use bottled water.
To keep the plate smooth, never put it in contact with metallic materials.
• Replace the descaling lter (14) at least every 3 months or more frequently if you’re
using particularly hard water.
