  If your Oki All in One Printer displays a communications error, it could be due to several reasons. The printer might be incompatible with the remote machine, or the remote machine may not be able to perform the requested function. Bad telephone line conditions can also cause this issue. Try sending the fax again, making sure you've dialed the correct number. If you need to dial a prefix for an outside line or are calling an international number, use the Pause key to insert a pause after the prefix or dialing code. If problems persist with a specific machine, program the number into a speed dial key and adjust its parameters. As a final check, try sending a fax to another location to verify if the issue lies with your local machine.

  If your Oki All in One Printer isn't answering the phone or receiving faxes, start by ensuring the power cord is properly connected. Then, check the reception mode setting on the machine. If manual receive mode is enabled, the printer won't automatically receive faxes.

Copy the document on your machine to see how it will transmit. Telephone line interference could also be the culprit, so try sending the document again later.
