4. Open tractor covers and remove paper
from printer.
5. Open access cover and lift off pull-up
roller assembly.
Note: Never attach or remove the pull-up roller
assembly when the paper separator is in the
standing state.
6. Fold some single-sheet, continuous-
feed paper over three times to produce
page four sheets thick.

Quadruple-thick paper
7. Load this quadruple-thick sheet onto
tractor pins and close tractor covers.
8. Turn platen knob to draw quadruple-
thick paper around platen. This will
bring jammed pieces of paper up and
out so you can dispose of them.
9. Back quadruple-thick sheet out of
printer using platen knob.
