The chain tension might be too tight: Adjust the chain tension. 3. Improper assembly of the bar and chain: Make sure that the bar and chain are assembled correctly. 4. The chain and/or bar might be damaged: Inspect the chain and bar for damage. 5. There might be issues with the clutch and/or sprocket: Replace if necessary; contact an Authorized Service Center.

  If your Oleo-Mac Chainsaw engine doesn't start or shuts off shortly after starting, ensure the switch is in the “I” position. The issue might be: 1. Lack of spark: Check the spark plug for a spark. If there's no spark, try again with a new spark plug (BPMR7A). 2. Flooded engine: Follow the procedure on page 20. If the engine still won't start, repeat the process with a new spark plug.

  If the bar and chain of your Oleo-Mac Chainsaw heat up and smoke during operation, it could be due to several reasons: 1. The chain oil tank may be empty: Ensure you fill the oil tank each time you refill the fuel tank. 2. The chain tension may be too tight: Adjust the chain tension according to the instructions. 3. There may be a malfunction in the lubrication system: Run the chainsaw at full throttle for 15-30 seconds, then stop and check if oil drips from the bar tip. If oil is present, the issue might be a loose chain or a damaged bar. If there is no oil, contact an Authorized Service Center.
