What to do if Oleo-Mac GS200E engine starts but the chain is not rotating?

  If your Oleo-Mac Chainsaw engine starts and runs, but the chain is not rotating, the cause may be that the chain is too taut (tension the chain per instructions), the bar and chain assembly is incorrect, the chain and/or guide bar are damaged, or the rim sprocket is damaged. It is advised to contact an Authorised Service Centre to replace the rim sprocket.

  Your Oleo-Mac Chainsaw bar and chain might be running hot and smoking due to several reasons: the chain oil tank is empty (top up the oil reservoir), the chain is too taut (tension the chain per instructions), or an oiler malfunction (run at full throttle for 15 to 30 seconds, stop the saw, and check for oil dripping; if no oil is present, contact a Servicing Dealer. If oil is present the chain may be dull or bar may be damaged).
