AC line cord into a properly grounded AC receptacle.The electronics may now be operated as necessary for
troubleshootingpurposes.
Never operatethe microscope if the chassis bonding screw forthe ground (center) pin of
theACinletjackislooseormissing,orifthewiretothislugiscutordamaged(seeFigure6).Thesearecriticalsafety
componentsandarenecessarytoensurethatthechassisof
themicroscopeis alwaysatasafepotentialintheeventof
anyelectricalfaultswithintheequipment.
