Protect from high temperatures
● Do not leave the camera in a closed car, etc., in the sun, as
the temperature may rise and cause damage.
Cleaning
● Before servicing or cleaning the unit, be sure to disconnect
the AC adaptor.
● The camera can be cleaned by wiping with a soft cloth. To
remove stains, wipe with a soft cloth moistened with a mild
detergent solution and wrung dry, then wipe with a dry soft
cloth.
● Do not use benzene, thinner, or any other chemical product
on the camera, as this may cause deterioration.
PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING THE CAMERA
Caution concerning the flash
● Be careful when taking pictures at close range.
● Do not take pictures of people’s faces (babies in particular)
at close range. If the flash goes off too close to someone’s
eyes it may cause a loss of vision. In particular, when taking
pictures of babies, be sure that the distance is at least 1 m.
